Salude CEO and Social Work Director Attend Spring Luncheon with Joe Biden
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA (May 21, 2018) – Salude CEO, Dr. Alan Wang, and Social Work Director, Ebonie Farr-Brannon, MSW, were invited to attend the 2018 Spring Luncheon with Joe Biden on Thursday, May 17, 2018, sponsored by Visiting Nurse | Hospice Atlanta.
The honorable Joseph Biden Jr., the 47th Vice President of the United States, spoke about his family’s personal battle with cancer and the Biden Cancer Initiative. “It was an honor to be invited to attend this luncheon in celebration of Visiting Nurse’s 70 year anniversary,” said Farr-Brannon.
Salude understands the impact a cancer diagnosis can have on a patient and their families. At Salude, “We hope to provide our patients enhanced recovery and a safe transition home by delivering clinical excellence in a state-of-the-art healing environment,” Dr. Wang added.
Proceeds from the event benefited patients and their families in the care of Visiting Nurse | Hospice Atlanta.
